I am Tristan Trommer, the solo founder of EventAssets. The idea began on my wedding day, when I realised how many meaningful moments were being captured—and how easily they could disappear across phones, chats and cloud folders.
The best memories should not be the hardest part of an event to collect.
An event can take months to prepare and pass in what feels like minutes. Afterwards, its story lives in the small moments that different people happened to capture.
On my wedding day, I knew our guests were taking photos and videos that we would love to see. But those memories were scattered across individual phones, private messages and different apps. Asking everyone to send everything later felt like one more task after a day that should simply be remembered.
I kept thinking there should be one welcoming place where guests could contribute without installing an app or working out a complicated process—and where hosts could find the whole event again, not just the few moments that reached them by chance.
That thought became EventAssets. I am building the product I wanted for my own celebration: simple for hosts, effortless for guests and thoughtful about the memories people trust it with.
