Customise RSVP questions, deadline and export

Once your guest list is in place, tailor what guests are asked, decide when replies close and take everything with you as a CSV file. All of this is configured from the RSVP settings in the Guests section of your event.

Add custom questions

Open the RSVP settings and add a question. Choose one of four types: free text, number, single choice or multiple choice. For choice questions, add the options guests can pick from and drag them into order. Switch on the required toggle if guests must answer before they can confirm attendance. You can add up to 20 questions per event.

Edit, reorder and delete questions

Drag questions into the order guests should see them. You can change a question's label and its options at any time — existing answers are kept. The question type is fixed once it has been created, so add a new question if you need a different type. When you delete a question or an option, a confirmation lists exactly what will be removed together with the answers attached to it. Changes are saved when you confirm the dialog, and you can discard a draft at any time.

Read the answers

Each question shows its own statistics: for choice questions, the number and percentage of guests who picked each option; for number questions, the sum, average, minimum and maximum. These figures count guests who are attending. Every guest's individual answers also appear on their card in the guest list.

Set the RSVP deadline

By default RSVPs close when your event starts. In the RSVP settings, pick any date, time and timezone, or remove the deadline to keep replies open. After the deadline guests see that RSVPs are closed and can no longer reply or edit. You can still add guests and change any response yourself.

Export guests and responses as CSV

From the Guests section, export your guest list as a CSV file. The file contains every guest with their party, attendance status and the answer to each question, ready for your caterer, seating plan, name cards or any spreadsheet. Export again whenever you like to get an up-to-date copy.
